About Us
Mudra Dance Academy was established by Smt. Vrunda Upadhyay, to promote
the exquisiteness of Bharatnatyam dance, produce quality performances, and live up to the standards set by great Bharatnatyam dance exponents.
This Academy promotes India’s cultural heritage by teaching and performing Bharatnayam, a South Indian classical dance form. Our structured arts education program nurtures the development of next generation of dancers and strives to expand the tradition’s expressive range through innovative choreography and quality training.

Approach
-
Academy strictly follows the Tanjore style of this classical art form.
-
The classes are taught in small groups with full focus and attention on all the students individually.
-
All the students are given a chance to perform in Programmes organized annually according to their ability.
-
This is to encourage them to get a good amount of stage experience required in the training.
-
After completing their training, students perform their graduation recital or Rangapravesam, a solo debut dance programme named ‘Arangetram’.
-
Academy maintains high standards and quality in teaching, and in performances.
-
Also Academy builds interest and passion in a student by not only imparting the knowledge of Bharatnatyam but also providing several opportunities to perform, allowing students to explore this beautiful art form. We provide Government Certifications, Local, National & international platforms.
